Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account you represent that you are.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@ghostfetch.io if you suspect unauthorized use.

GhostFetch is a web-unlocker HTTP API that returns rendered HTML from public web pages on your behalf. Quotas, rate limits, render multipliers, and overage rates are defined by your active subscription tier and shown on the pricing page.

We may add, change, or remove features over time. We will give 30 days notice before any change that materially reduces functionality on a paid tier.

You are solely responsible for the legality of the URLs you submit to the Service and for ensuring you have the right to access the data you request.

The Acceptable Use Policy at /legal/acceptable-use is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Violations of that policy are violations of these Terms.

Subscriptions renew monthly. Overage is billed at the per-1,000-request rate listed on the pricing page. Render multipliers apply (render=none = 1×, render=js = 2×, render=stealth = 3×).

Failed requests (captcha unsolved, target 5xx, requests we drop for blocklist or AUP reasons) do not count toward billing.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from Dashboard → Billing. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate partial months.

Refunds are handled case-by-case. Contact support@ghostfetch.io for refund requests.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of the Acceptable Use Policy, abusive volume patterns, charged-back undisputed invoices, or any attempt to evade rate limits or our gateway blocklist.

You may delete your account at any time from Dashboard → Settings. Deletion immediately disables your API keys and removes your personal data subject to the retention exceptions documented in the Privacy Policy.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every target site will be reachable on every attempt.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR DATA.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or via the dashboard at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. First Commit LLC is organized under the laws of the State of New York.
